Your Chemotherapy Hair Loss Journey
If you are preparing for chemotherapy and are concerned about hair loss, please contact us as soon as possible. The earlier we can help, the more we can do to make the transition feel familiar, comfortable and as easy as possible.
You don’t even need to visit us initially. If you are unable to come in, you can send us photographs of your current hair, and our experienced team can begin looking at styles, colours and options that will suit you.
1. Contact us
Get in touch with our team as soon as you know that chemotherapy-related hair loss may affect you. We can talk through your options, answer your questions and explain what happens next.
2. Come and meet us, or send us photographs
Ideally, we would love to meet you and see your hair in person. However, if this isn’t possible, you can send us clear photographs of your current hairstyle and colour.
This allows us to understand your existing look and help us find a wig that feels as natural and familiar to you as possible.
3. We find the right wig for you
We hold a high volume of wigs in stock, including current colours, styles and natural-looking tones. This means we can often find something suitable without a long wait.
If we don’t have the exact style or colour you are looking for, we can source a wig specifically to suit your current hairstyle, colour and preferences.
Our aim is to make the change feel as seamless as possible.
4. Your private fitting
Once your wig has been selected, you’ll come into our salon for a private fitting.
Our experienced team will carefully fit the wig and make any adjustments needed to ensure it feels secure, comfortable and natural.
5. We cut and customise it for you
We don’t simply hand you a wig and send you on your way.
We can cut and customise your wig to your liking, taking into consideration your face shape, existing hairstyle and how you normally wear your hair. We can create layers, adjust the length and shape the style so that it feels like you.
Where appropriate, we can also make further colour or styling adjustments to achieve the finish you want.
6. Private scalp shaving, if you need it
When you are ready, we can also assist you with shaving your scalp.
We understand that this can be an emotional and very personal part of the process. That is why we offer this service within our private salon suite rooms, providing you with discretion, dignity and complete privacy.
There is no pressure and no need to feel self-conscious. We will take everything at your pace and support you throughout.
Our relationship doesn’t end when you leave with your wig.
